Maria the photographer studied film and photography as part of her education as a journalist.  She  is an experienced photographer comfortable working with flash and outdoor light.  She has been published by the Post and Courier and her photographic and digital art have been exhibited during Spoleto and City Gallery at Waterfront Park).   She has won contests and has participated in curated exhibits during the Moja Art Festival in Charleston.  

 

Maria  loves to work with commercial product/Fashion, families, children, and events.  She enjoys capturing life and  the landscape of our beautiful Lowcountry.  

 

Maria lives on a barrier island near Charleston where she has her studio. Currently working as a photographer for a preschool.  

 

Maria worked  for TV stations in the Charleston (FOX and ABC).  She also atttended TTC to be certified as a digital specialist.
